Traditional Tet greetings to the armed forces of the provinces of the Kingdom of Cambodia

The working delegation of An Giang Provincial Police visited and wished Tet to the Police force, Military Sub-region and Gendarmerie of Takeo province, Kandal province (Kingdom of Cambodia).

On the occasion of the traditional Tet holiday Chôl Chnăm Thmây 2026, on the morning of April 9, a working delegation of An Giang Provincial Police led by Major General Nguyen Van Han, Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Director of the Provincial Police, visited and wished Tet to the Police force, Military Sub-region and Gendarmerie of Takeo Province (Kingdom of Cambodia).

At the places visited, in a sincere, warm and imbued atmosphere of international friendship and solidarity, Major General Nguyen Van Han cordially sent to leaders, officers, and soldiers of armed units of the Kingdom of Cambodia the best New Year wishes on the occasion of the traditional Chol Chnam Thmay Tet in 2026.

Comrade expressed his respect for the good traditional relationship between the An Giang Provincial Police force and friendly units in the past time; and emphasized that the effective results of coordination in the fields of ensuring security, order, management, and border protection have contributed to consolidating trust and strengthening the bond and mutual understanding between the two sides.

This is not only an annual meaningful foreign affairs activity but also shows deep respect for the traditional good neighborly relationship between the two countries in general, and between the armed forces of the two border provinces in particular.

In the afternoon of the same day, the delegation visited, wished Tet and presented gifts to the Police force, Military Sub-region and Gendarmerie of Kandal province.

At the destinations, Major General Nguyen Van Han sent New Year greetings of peace, happiness and victory to leaders, officers, and soldiers of the Armed Forces of Kandal province. The comrade expressed his belief that, on the basis of the good traditional solidarity and friendship between Vietnam and Cambodia, the armed forces of the two sides will continue to strengthen coordination and mutual support in ensuring security and order, fighting and preventing crimes, contributing to maintaining stability in the border area.
