To celebrate the 80th Anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Vietnam People's Security Forces (July 12, 1946 - July 12, 2026), Da Nang City Police organized the "Border Affection" program in 2026 in Dak Pring border commune. The program is accompanied by the BIDV Bank of Vietnam branch in the area and local authorities, with a total budget of 220 million VND, according to the Da Nang City Police e-Portal.
Activities in response to the emulation movement "Joining hands for the poor - Leaving no one behind", contributing to caring for the lives of people in border areas, strengthening the connection between the police force and the people and building a people's security posture from the grassroots level.
The highlight of the program is the handover of the "Border Security Light" project including 30 solar light poles in villages 56A and 56B. The project helps people travel conveniently, serves socio-economic development, and at the same time supports functional forces to patrol, ensure security, order and prevent crime in the border area.

The delegation also presented 50 gifts to households in difficult circumstances; presented gifts in gratitude to village elders, prestigious people, border guard stations and Dak Pring Commune Police. In addition, Dak Pring kindergarten was supported with many essential equipment such as televisions, refrigerators, gas stoves, rice cookers, water purifiers and water heaters, contributing to improving teaching and learning conditions.
On this occasion, union members and youth of Da Nang City Police organized the "0-dong booth" model, providing necessities, clothes and many essential items for people to choose according to their needs.
The "Border Affection" program not only has social security significance but also contributes to consolidating the great national unity bloc, strengthening the people's hearts and building a solid people's security in the border area, spreading the beautiful image of the people's police force for the peaceful life of the people.
