On July 12, information from Nghe An Provincial Police said that the unit had just started construction of a gratitude house for Ms. Tran Thi Lien (born in 1968), residing in village 7, Quynh Lam, Quynh Son commune, Nghe An province.
Ms. Lien is a parishioner of Thuan Nghia parish, with particularly difficult circumstances. For many years, her family has had to live in a house that has seriously deteriorated but has no conditions to repair or rebuild.
Faced with the above situation, Nghe An Provincial Police decided to support 150 million VND for Ms. Lien's family to build a new solid house, ensuring safety and stable life.
The groundbreaking ceremony was held on July 2, on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the People's Security Forces (July 12, 1946 - July 12, 2026).
At the ceremony, representatives of the Political Work Department of Nghe An Provincial Police said that the activity of supporting the construction of gratitude houses shows the concern of the Party Committee and the Board of Directors of the Provincial Police for people in difficult circumstances, and at the same time contributes to the implementation of social security work in the area.
Representatives of Nghe An Provincial Police requested the Party Committee and government of Quynh Son commune and the Commune Police to continue to pay attention and coordinate to support the family, ensuring that the project is built on schedule and with quality.
On this occasion, Nghe An Provincial Police also supported the construction of 3 houses of comradeship for officers and soldiers in difficult circumstances and houses of gratitude donated to poor households.
According to Nghe An Provincial Police, the above activities are aimed at helping officers and soldiers feel secure in their work, and at the same time encouraging difficult families to soon stabilize their lives, develop the economy and gradually escape poverty.
