Promoting the 80-year tradition of the People's Security Forces, the Immigration Management Department of Tuyen Quang Provincial Police is promoting digital transformation, administrative reform, improving the efficiency of state management and the quality of service to the people, according to the e-Portal of Tuyen Quang Provincial Police.
Thoroughly grasping Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on developing science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation, the unit identified digital transformation as an important driving force for modernizing the administration, ensuring national security and serving the people better. Along with that, the emulation movement "Three Firsts: Most Disciplined - Most Loyal - Closest to the People" is concretized in each working position, taking the satisfaction of people and businesses as the goal.
The Immigration Management Department has promoted the effectiveness of the national population database, the Immigration Database and digital platforms of the Ministry of Public Security; providing 100% of full online public services for eligible procedures under its jurisdiction. Thanks to that, the process of receiving and processing dossiers is carried out publicly, transparently, and quickly, helping people and businesses save time and costs.
The unit also deployed many models to serve people such as "QRCode code to support people in the province", "One-touch to serve people better" and "Smile for people to serve", helping citizens easily look up information, carry out administrative procedures and receive dedicated guidance.
From July 1, 2025, after merging the Police of Tuyen Quang and Ha Giang provinces, the Immigration Management Department of Tuyen Quang Provincial Police has received and resolved over 10,000 applications for ordinary passports, more than 2,800 applications for exit and entry procedures for foreigners, and at the same time completed the electronic identification for 100% of foreigners subject to the provisions of Decree No. 69/2024/ND-CP of the Government.
In addition to administrative reform, the unit strengthens propaganda on immigration laws, coordinates with departments, branches and local authorities to manage foreigners; proactively grasps the situation, promptly detects and prevents acts of taking advantage of immigration activities to violate the law, contributing to maintaining national security, order, and social safety.
