In order to improve the efficiency of state management of security and order and proactively prevent unsafe risks in the area, Chi Dam Commune Police (Phu Tho) has synchronously implemented many solutions in the management of residence for foreigners and ensuring fire prevention and fighting safety in Van Du carpentry village, according to the e-Portal of Phu Tho Provincial Police.
Implementing the provisions of law on exit, entry, transit and residence of foreigners in Vietnam, Chi Dam Commune Police regularly review the situation at accommodation establishments, businesses, organizations and individuals with foreigners residing and working in the area. At the same time, the police force checks the implementation of temporary residence declaration in accordance with regulations.
Up to now, the commune police have directly guided 7 accommodation establishments, businesses and organizations and individuals to carry out temporary residence declarations for foreigners through the Electronic Temporary Residence Declaration System of the Ministry of Public Security and guided declarations using temporary residence declaration forms in cases according to regulations.
Along with guiding the declaration process, commune police focus on propagating the responsibilities of accommodation establishments, implementation deadlines, declaration procedures and coordination with the police force when cases arising that need verification arise, contributing to improving the effectiveness of residence management in the area.
In parallel with managing foreigners, in the face of prolonged hot weather, Chi Dam Commune Police promoted propaganda and guided production households in Van Du carpentry village to strictly implement fire prevention and fighting regulations.
Currently, Van Du carpentry village has about 80 establishments producing, trading, and processing wood, creating regular jobs for 200 to 250 workers. With the characteristic of concentrating many flammable raw materials and supplies such as wood, sawdust, chips, paint and solvents, the risk of fire and explosion is always present if safety conditions are not ensured.
The police force has coordinated to inspect the electrical system at production facilities; guide the arrangement and maintenance of on-site fire fighting equipment; arrange raw materials to ensure safe distance and develop handling plans when incidents occur. At the same time, strengthen propaganda and raise awareness of compliance with the provisions of law on fire prevention and fighting for facility owners and workers.
The synchronous implementation of residence management solutions for foreigners and strengthening fire and explosion prevention has contributed to ensuring security and order, creating a safe and favorable environment for production, business and socio-economic development in Chi Dam commune.
