Phu Tho Provincial Police have just coordinated with Hoa Binh Pedagogical College to open a Muong ethnic language training class for officers and soldiers of commune and ward police. The activity aims to improve the effectiveness of propaganda and mobilization of the masses in areas with a large number of ethnic minorities living.
According to the Phu Tho Provincial Police Electronic Information Portal, the training class is organized according to Resolution No. 03-NQ/ĐUCA dated April 6, 2026 of the Central Public Security Party Committee on building strong, modern, grassroots commune, ward, and special zone police, meeting the requirements of tasks in the new situation and the guidance of the Department of Training, Ministry of Public Security.
Participating in the course are 45 students who are officers and soldiers working in areas with a large number of Muong ethnic people living.
During 50 days, students are equipped with knowledge about the language, writing, customs, habits and cultural identity of the Muong ethnic people. The program is built in association with practical work requirements, helping officers and soldiers improve their communication, propaganda, and mobilization of the masses, creating favorable conditions in the process of performing tasks at the grassroots level.
The organization of training classes contributes to the implementation of the goal that by 2030, 100% of commune-level police officers and commanders will be trained in ethnic knowledge; officials assigned to be in charge of areas with a large number of ethnic minorities will be trained and use ethnic languages to serve their work.
Through the course, officers and soldiers have more conditions to improve their understanding of the life and culture of ethnic minorities, strengthen their attachment to the people, contributing to improving the effectiveness of propaganda and mobilization of the masses to participate in ensuring security, order, crime prevention and control and building a solid people's security posture right from the grassroots level.
