At the families, representatives of Luong Minh Commune Police cordially inquired about the health, living conditions, and studies of the children; and at the same time presented gifts to encourage them to continue to strive in their studies and lives.
Although the gifts are not large in material terms, they show the concern and sharing of the commune police force for poor students and students in particularly difficult circumstances in the area.
Luong Minh is a highland commune, belonging to the western mountainous region of Nghe An. The locality is more than 210km from the provincial center, the area is large, and the lives of a part of the people are still difficult. The whole commune has 10 villages, many poor and near-poor households, and the learning conditions of children in some villages are still limited.
According to Luong Minh Commune Police, the "Commune Police adopted children" model is a deeply humane activity, showing the spirit of responsibility of the grassroots police force in accompanying and supporting children in difficult circumstances.
Through this model, commune police officers and soldiers not only provide material support but also regularly care for and encourage spirit, contributing to helping children have more faith and will to overcome difficulties and continue to go to school.
