The police of communes in Lao Cai province have proactively advised local Party committees and authorities to deploy many drug prevention and control models at the grassroots level, mobilizing the participation of mass organizations and people.
On June 20, Lao Cai Provincial Police said that on June 18 and 19, many drug prevention and control models were launched in localities, contributing to the goal of building 100% of communes and wards without drugs in the province.

In Ngu Chi Son commune, the commune police coordinated with mass organizations to launch the "Say No to Drugs" model in Yen Son village. Along with that, the police force organized legal propaganda, disseminated the harms of drugs and distributed leaflets guiding people on preventive measures.

In Chieng Ken commune, the "Drug-free group point" model was launched with the participation of departments, branches and local people. Participating members signed a commitment to build a drug-free group point.
Meanwhile, Xuan Quang Commune Police continuously launched models "Maintaining and maintaining No Trong village without drugs" and "Maintaining and maintaining Coc Puc village without drugs", combined with organizing the program "Commune Police listen to people's opinions".

In Cao Son and Khao Mang communes, "Say no to drugs" models have also been established with the participation of the Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations, farmer members, women and a large number of people.
According to Lao Cai Provincial Police, the construction and replication of drug prevention and control models at the grassroots level contributes to raising awareness and promoting the role of people in preventing, detecting, and denouncing crimes, maintaining security and order, and building a safe and healthy living environment.
