The People's Committee of Dong Thap province has issued a decision approving the project of the Road Traffic Monitoring Camera System in Dong Thap province. The total investment of this project is more than 26 billion VND.
The project investment objective is to apply information technology to support the Traffic Police force in effectively handling violations of regulations on traffic order and safety, contributing to reducing traffic accidents and preventing traffic congestion; effectively preventing and combating all types of crimes and violations of the law on traffic routes.
The system also helps collect information and data on traffic order and safety, serving the work of reporting, evaluating, forecasting, and proposing solutions to ensure traffic order and safety; sharing information and data of the system with relevant sectors and localities to serve the socio-economic development of the province.
The implementation period of this project is in 2024 - 2025, of which 2024 is the year of investment preparation and 2025 is the year of implementation and completion.
