On January 11, a delegation from the Military Command (CHQS) of Quang Tri province led by Senior Lieutenant Colonel Tran Hung Khanh - Deputy Commander of the Provincial Military Command visited, encouraged, presented gifts and assigned tasks to officers and soldiers of the Standing Militia Flotilla of the province before departing to perform duty at sea during the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year.
According to the plan, during the Lunar New Year days, the Standing People's Navy Flotilla of Quang Tri province will perform duties at sea. To reassure officers and soldiers to work, the unit organized an early Tet celebration in a warm and comradely atmosphere. In the preparation process, officers and soldiers always uphold the spirit of responsibility, are ready to receive and complete tasks well, even if they have to be away from their families in the sacred moment of the traditional Tet.
At the visit, Senior Lieutenant Colonel Tran Hung Khanh cordially inquired about the ideological situation, life, and activities of officers and soldiers; and at the same time acknowledged and praised the proactive spirit, determination and responsibility of the Standing Militia Flotilla in performing the task of protecting sovereignty and security of the sea and islands.
The Deputy Commander of the Provincial Military Command requested officers and soldiers in the process of performing duties at sea during Tet to uphold the spirit of vigilance, proactively coordinate closely with functional forces, firmly grasp the situation, be ready to effectively handle arising situations; and at the same time ensure absolute safety for people, weapons, equipment and technical means.
On the occasion of preparing to welcome the new Spring, Senior Lieutenant Colonel Tran Hung Khanh sent New Year greetings to all officers, soldiers and families for health, happiness, peace, and prosperity; wishing the Permanent Militia Flotilla to excellently complete all assigned tasks.
On this occasion, the Quang Tri Provincial Military Command presented gifts and promptly encouraged officers and soldiers of the Standing Militia Flotilla, contributing to further motivating the force to confidently set off to perform their duties, firmly at the forefront of waves and winds.
