Quang Ninh Provincial Museum - Library is called "museum with millions of views" by many tourists because of its beautiful location on the shore of Ha Long Bay and unique architecture, becoming one of the most famous destinations in Ha Long.
The project is located next to 30.10 Square, designed by Spanish architect Salvador Pérez Arroyo and completed in 2013 on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of Quang Ninh province.
The highlight of the project is the shell covering about 14,000m2 of black glass, inspired by coal - a typical mineral of the Quang Ninh mining area. Seen from the outside, the building looks like a giant "black pearl" reflecting the image of the sea and sky and Ha Long Bay heritage, creating an impressive and distinctive appearance.
In the summer days, this famous location continues to attract a large number of domestic and foreign tourists to visit, experience the unique architecture display and check-in space.
Ms. Le Ngoc Thuy Linh (Hanoi tourist) said that this is the first time she has been to Ha Long, and after being introduced by friends, she decided to visit the museum because of its outstanding architectural appeal.
The space here is very modern, the lighting in the galleries is also very beautiful and ancient. From each angle, I can take many impressive photos. I think this is one of the must-visit destinations when coming to Ha Long," Ms. Thuy Linh shared.
Mr. Nguyen Van Hieu (Hai Phong tourist) also said that what impressed him the most was the combination of museums and libraries being close to each other, convenient for transportation.
Coming to this location, I can both learn about Quang Ninh history and culture, and have a very quiet reading space. This is a difference compared to many other museums I have been to," Mr. Hieu said.
Meanwhile, Mr. Marco Rossi (Italian tourist) expressed his excitement when he first set foot on this project.
I really like this museum and library. The building with black glass has a very unique and beautiful architecture. The project feels modern but still harmonious with nature, especially the view overlooking Ha Long Bay. I will definitely introduce this location to my domestic friends," Mr. Marco shared.
