On April 12, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Gia Lai province said that it had informed agencies, units, and localities about coordinating the organization of activities to celebrate Vietnamese Ethnic Culture Day (April 19).
Accordingly, based on actual conditions, localities proactively deploy many forms of propaganda such as organizing culture, arts, sports, film screenings, exhibitions, visual propaganda and broadcasting on the grassroots radio system.
Activities must be diverse in content, flexible in form, ensuring rich identity; focusing on spreading the good traditional cultural values of ethnic groups living in the area.
Propaganda must be integrated with the implementation of the Resolution of the 14th Party Congress and the resolution on developing Vietnamese culture.
Promptly commend and recognize the contributions of cadres, village elders, village chiefs, artisans and prestigious people in the work of preserving national culture. Activities must be organized solemnly, practically, economically, and attract a large number of people to participate.
Commemorative activities aim to educate patriotism, arouse national pride, and raise awareness of responsibility in preserving and promoting traditional cultural values.
Thereby, contributing to promoting the unique cultural features of the locality, promoting preservation associated with tourism development; creating conditions for ethnic minorities to meet, exchange, exchange experiences, strengthen solidarity and build a healthy and progressive cultural life.
