On the evening of November 5, at the Xu Dong Cultural Center Square, Hai Phong City, the opening ceremony of the Red River Delta - Hai Phong 2025 Trade Fair took place. The event was organized by the Department of Industry and Trade of Hai Phong in coordination with the Department of Trade Promotion - Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Center for Industrial Promotion and Development Consulting of Hai Phong was the unit.
The opening ceremony was attended by leaders of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Trade Promotion Agency, leaders of Hai Phong city, and representatives of the Departments of Industry and Trade in the region, enterprises, industry associations, craft villages and a large number of people.
This is a regional trade promotion activity, organized alternately between localities in the Red River Delta region, to strengthen cooperation in industrial - trade development and trade connections between provinces, cities and the whole country.
With the theme "Connection - Cooperation - Sustainable Development", the fair took place over 5 days, from November 5 to 9, aiming to support businesses in promoting their brands, expanding consumption markets, promoting the development of industry, handicrafts, and OCOP products, while contributing to the implementation of green transformation, digital transformation, and sustainable development of the region.
This year's fair brings together more than 210 booths of businesses, cooperatives, craft villages, and trade promotion units from provinces and cities in the Red River Delta and many localities across the country. The main exhibition areas introduce industrial products, handicrafts, typical agricultural products - food, OCOP products, ornamental plants, handicrafts, Feng Shui stones... expressing the unique cultural features and creativity of artisans.
Within the framework of the fair, many activities connecting trade, trade promotion conferences, introducing typical products, investment cooperation programs and presenting videos to promote the economy - culture - tourism of Hai Phong and localities in the region were also organized.
The fair is expected to become an important forum for connecting businesses, promoting investment cooperation, trade and developing a sustainable production - consumption - export value chain. At the same time, this is an opportunity for Hai Phong to introduce its potential and strengths in industrial, trade, service development and international integration, affirming its role as a major economic center, a driving force for development of the Red River Delta and the Northern region.
