According to information from the Naval Academy, to celebrate the 79th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2026), from July 16 - 27, this unit organizes many practical activities to show gratitude to war invalids, martyrs, and people with meritorious services to the revolution in Khanh Hoa province.
Accordingly, the working delegation of the Academy offered incense at the National Historical Relic to commemorate the Heroic Martyrs of No Numbered Ship C235 in Hon Heo (Dong Ninh Hoa ward), Hon Dung Martyrs' Cemetery and Gac Ma Soldiers' Memorial Area.
The delegation also visited and presented 10 gifts to policy families in particularly difficult circumstances, offered flowers, lit candles of gratitude and visited the display area of artifacts about Gac Ma soldiers.

In addition, the Naval Academy organized a meeting and presented gifts from the President, the Navy and the Naval Academy to wounded soldiers and relatives of martyrs working at the unit; visited and presented gifts to 2 Heroes of the People's Armed Forces; supported soldiers to "build comradeship houses".

The unit also coordinated with local authorities to give 10 gifts to policy families who are ethnic minorities in Trung Khanh Vinh commune, and offered incense at the Hall of President Ho Chi Minh, General Vo Nguyen Giap and heroic martyrs.

Previously, in Bac Ai commune, Khanh Hoa province, the Naval Academy coordinated with local Party committees and authorities to inaugurate and hand over 3 houses to policy families who are children of resistance war activists infected with chemical toxins.
The projects were completed with more than 1,100 working days of officials, lecturers, students and association members. The Academy also donated televisions and many essential household items to families. The total cost of gifts and support for soldiers "building comradeship houses" is more than 125 million VND.
Gratitude activities are not only of material significance but also express deep gratitude to wounded soldiers, martyrs, and people with meritorious services to the revolution; contributing to spreading the image of "Uncle Ho's soldiers - Navy soldiers" in the new era, educating the tradition of "When drinking water, remember the source", and effectively implementing policies for people with meritorious services and military rear work.
