On the morning of December 3, the Border Guard Command (BDBP) of Can Tho City held a conference to summarize Party work and political work in 2025 and set out directions and tasks for 2026.
In 2025, the Party Committee, the Steering Committee of the Can Tho City Border Guard and Party committees and commanders of agencies and units will focus on leading, directing closely, implementing synchronously, comprehensively and effectively the activities, with many innovations, creativity, completing tasks well, and some contents will be completed excellently.
Do a good job of political education, management, and ideological orientation for officers and soldiers in the face of complicated public opinion, wrong and hostile views, and firmly protect the Party's ideological foundation, especially in implementing the Project to continue to organize the arrangement of local military agencies and Border Guard "streamlined, compact, and strong" to meet the requirements of tasks in the new situation.
The Party's inspection, supervision and disciplinary work has been strengthened; collectives and individuals who violate the law have been strictly handled, contributing to maintaining discipline and order, building a clean and strong Party organization; doing a good job of protecting internal politics, policy work for cadres, soldiers and military rear policies.
The mass mobilization work of the Can Tho City Border Guard was implemented creatively, synchronously, and coordinated with the organization of the 2025 National Border Guard Festival, summarizing 10 years of implementing Directive 01 of the Prime Minister. Effectively implement the Project to build a national border defense; maintain the movements "Spring Border Guard warms the hearts of the villagers", "Stepping your children to school", "Children of the Border Guard Station", "Zero-dong booth", "Special market", "Seed for the poor". Thereby, thousands of gifts, dozens of houses, nearly 100 bicycles, more than 400 scholarships were given to poor people and border students, with a total value of over 2.5 billion VND.
