Implementing the National Target Program on Sustainable Poverty Reduction in 2025, on September 22 and 23, the Vietnam Cooperative Union (HTX) Trade and Investment Promotion Center coordinated with the Lao Cai Provincial Cooperative Union to conduct a survey to prepare for the implementation of the "Reproductive cow farming model" project in Tram Tau and Khanh Hoa communes.
The working group worked with representatives of the authorities of the two communes and representatives of households expected to receive project support to agree on criteria and beneficiaries; conduct a field survey, review, select a list of participating households and appropriate support methods to ensure effectiveness.
According to the plan, there will be 20 poor, near-poor and newly escaped poverty households in Tram Tau commune, in Khanh Hoa commune, there are 40 poor, near-poor and newly escaped poverty households supported to participate in the "Reproductive cow farming model".
The project will contribute to helping people have more sustainable livelihoods, increase income, reduce poverty and spread the collective economic development model in the locality.
The implementation of the "Reproductive cow farming model" not only has the meaning of directly supporting poor, near-poor households and households newly escaped poverty, but also opens up a long-term direction in rural economic development.
This is an important part in the efforts to realize the goal of sustainable poverty reduction and improve the quality of life of people in disadvantaged areas.
When households have more conditions to develop production and create stable livelihoods, they will gradually confidently rise out of poverty, contributing to promoting the local socio-economic development to be more comprehensive.
