On May 15, information from the Navy Command said that the Naval Academy had just coordinated with the Standing Committee of the Nha Trang Ward Women's Union (Khanh Hoa) to organize a conference to propagate Vietnam's sea and islands.
At the conference, Colonel Nguyen Van Ton - Deputy Head of the Political Department of the Naval Academy informed about the basic contents of the position and role of Vietnam's sea and islands in the cause of building and protecting the Fatherland.
The speaker emphasized that the sea and islands are not only a space for survival and economic development but also hold a strategic position in national defense and security; the consistent viewpoints and policies of our Party and State in resolving issues at sea by peaceful means, on the basis of international law, contributing to maintaining a stable environment for national development.
One of the highlights of the conference is the promotion of digital transformation applications in propaganda work. The content is illustrated by video clips, visual graphic images, combined with vivid presentations, creating attractive effects, helping listeners easily access and remember knowledge.
Images of training activities of the Vietnam People's Navy and the lives of officers and soldiers at the forefront of the waves and winds have left many emotions, arousing pride and sense of responsibility in each officer of the Ward Women's Union.
The conference atmosphere became more lively in the exchange and communication section. Many questions were raised about knowledge about Vietnam's sea and islands, the tradition of more than 71 years of construction, combat and growth of the Vietnam People's Navy and the role of the Naval Academy in training human resources to serve the task of protecting sea and island sovereignty. Women's union officials actively participated, showing understanding, receptive spirit and responsibility.
Through the conference, the Nha Trang Ward Women's Union will gradually foster and build a core team of propagandists right from the grassroots level.
This will be an important force in bringing the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws on the sea and islands of the Fatherland closer to the people; and at the same time contribute to orienting ideology, enhancing "resilience" to false and distorted information about the current sea and island situation.
