On April 28, Au Lau Ward Police, Lao Cai province, in coordination with the Task Force for building communes and wards without drugs, organized a program to propagate and disseminate laws on drug prevention and control to workers in Minh Quan Industrial Park. Activities aimed at building a safe, healthy working environment without drugs.
Attending the program were leaders of the Ward People's Committee, Au Lau Ward Police and representatives of functional units of Lao Cai Provincial Police.
This is one of the key activities to concretize the policy of building a drug-free area according to the Provincial Party Committee's Resolution.

At the propaganda session, more than 100 workers from businesses in Minh Quan Industrial Park were directly informed of many practical contents by officers of the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department, Provincial Police.
The knowledge focuses on identifying drugs and common drugs today; signs of identification of addicts; serious consequences for health, family and society; and updating legal regulations related to drug prevention and control.

Not only stopping at theory, the program also helps workers better understand the responsibilities of individuals in detecting and denouncing crimes, and proactively preventing them early and remotely.
The criteria for building communes and wards without drugs have also been specifically disseminated, associated with the goal of making Au Lau ward a "clean" area for drugs in 2026.
In addition, the police force also provided information on the drug crime situation in the area in 2025 and the first months of 2026, thereby warning about the increasingly sophisticated methods and tricks of criminals, especially the risk of infiltrating worker areas and industrial parks.
Bringing legal propaganda content to workplaces is considered an effective and practical approach. Not only raising awareness, the activity also helps workers equip themselves with self-protection skills, build a healthy lifestyle, and say no to drugs.
Through the program, each worker is expected to become an active "propagandist", spreading the message of drug prevention to families and communities.
From there, contributing to building Minh Quan Industrial Park into a safe, drug-free working environment, towards the sustainable development goals of the locality.
