On April 27, Lao Cai Provincial Police said that the Women's Union of Lao Cai Ward Police in coordination with the Women's Union of Detention Center No. 1 of the Provincial Police had just organized the program "Accompanying Border Women" in the ward.

The activity was deployed on the morning of April 26, on the occasion of the Southern Liberation Day and International Labor Day, to practically care for the lives of women's families in difficult circumstances, especially policy households.
At the program, the delegation presented 10 gifts to women's families in difficult circumstances in the area. Each gift is worth 500,000 VND, including cash and essential necessities such as rice, fish sauce, salt, MSG, sugar...
The total value of the gifts is 5 million VND, which is deducted from the contributions of female members in the force.
Not only carrying the meaning of material support, the activity also clearly demonstrates the spirit of responsibility and proactiveness of the grassroots police force in social security work.

The Women's Union of Lao Cai Ward Police plays a core role in advising and organizing the implementation of the program associated with the area; meanwhile, the Women's Union of Detention Center No. 1 actively coordinates and mobilizes resources to join hands in supporting difficult circumstances.
The gifts given directly not only contribute to helping families alleviate immediate difficulties but also are a source of spiritual encouragement, adding faith for women in border areas to strive to stabilize their lives.
This is also a practical response to the "Weekend for the People" movement, thereby promoting the pioneering and voluntary role of women's union members in the People's Police force.
At the same time, the program contributes to strongly spreading the spirit of mutual affection, consolidating the beautiful image of the Police force in the hearts of the people.
