On March 25, at Sac Tu Hue Lam Pagoda (Phu Dinh ward, Ho Chi Minh City), the Dharma disciples solemnly organized the 23rd Thuy Ky Ceremony to commemorate late Nun Thich Nu Giac Nhan, former Chief Secretary of the Northern Buddhist Sangha, Abbot of Sac Tu Hue Lam Pagoda.
Quang Lam witnessed and attended the ceremony with Venerable Thich Thien Luong, Venerable Thich Hue Cong, Venerable Thich Tac Hue, along with venerable monks and nuns and a large number of Buddhists from near and far. In a solemn atmosphere, the entire public wholeheartedly offered incense and chanted sutras to pray for Giac Linh Ni Truong to ascend to the highest position.

The late Nun Thich Nu Giac Nhan was born in 1919 in Long Ho district, Vinh Long province, and ordained in 1937. Throughout her journey of serving the Dharma, the Nun has held many important positions such as Giám học Phật học Ni viện Tu Nghiem, Deputy Head of the Hue Lam Primary Buddhist Class (1–4th class). In particular, in 1957, the Nun opened a Primary Buddhist class at Giac Thien Pagoda and in 1994 continued to establish a Primary Buddhist class at Hue Lam Pagoda, making an important contribution to training Nuns for the Church. The Nun is also regularly invited to the Three Lions class at the Great Halls.

On this occasion, Nun Thich Nu Nhu Dung and philanthropists and Buddhists of Hue Lam Pagoda organized charity activities, giving 100 gifts to people in difficult circumstances in the locality. Each gift includes necessities and cash worth 400,000 VND, with a total implementation cost of 40 million VND, contributing to spreading the compassionate spirit of the Buddhist and supporting social security in Phu Dinh ward.
