On the morning of December 12, at the Defense Command of Region 4 (Hap Linh Ward, Bac Ninh Province), authorized by the Central Military Commission - Ministry of National Defense, the Military Region 1 Command coordinated with Bac Ninh Province to organize the presentation of the Portrait of President Ho Chi Minh to 99 communes and wards of Bac Ninh Province.
At the ceremony, authorized by Major General Nguyen Van Lich - Deputy Commander of Military Region 1 presented the Portrait of President Ho Chi Minh to the communes and wards of Bac Ninh province.
Major General Nguyen Van Lich emphasized that in the context of the increasingly perfected and smooth operation of the two-level local government model, placing the statue of Uncle Ho at the grassroots government headquarters is even more meaningful, a symbol of trust, solidarity, and determination to innovate, a spiritual foundation for grassroots cadres to promote their responsibility and efforts in performing public duties, serving the needs of people and businesses well.
At the same time, it strengthens the solidarity between the army and the people, contributing to educating patriotism and a sense of responsibility for the younger generation.
To promote the sacred value of Uncle Ho's statue, Major General Nguyen Van Lich suggested that localities choose the location to place the statue, ensuring solemnity and compliance with regulations.
Promote the organization of traditional political and educational activities associated with Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style; include them in the order of Party cell activities and group and association activities. Promote the symbol of Uncle Ho in the patriotic emulation movement, building a strong and comprehensive locality.
On behalf of the leaders of Bac Ninh province, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province Ngo Tan Phuong expressed his sincere thanks for the attention of the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense, and the Military Region 1 Command to the Party Committee, government, armed forces, and people of Bac Ninh ethnic groups; and emphasized that the Portrait of President Ho Chi Minh is a gift of sacred significance, a beautiful symbol of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style, a great source of spiritual encouragement for the political system and people of localities in the province, especially during the period when Bac Ninh is transforming strongly to become a modern industrial province, striving to soon become a centrally-run city.
