On July 20, Lao Cai Provincial Police said that Van Ban Commune Police had just received, verified and returned a black OPPO mobile phone worth about 3 million VND to the person who dropped it.
Previously, at about 9:15 am on the same day, Mr. Chu Hong Luu (born 1973, residing in Van Tien village, Van Ban commune) came to refuel at a gas station in village 9 and picked up a mobile phone. Immediately after that, he brought the property to Van Ban Commune Police to report and ask to find the owner.
After receiving the information, commune police officers quickly verified and identified the owner of the phone as Mr. Phan Van Nhao (born 1951, residing in Na Loc 1 village, Van Ban commune), who carelessly dropped property when coming to refuel.
After completing the procedures, Van Ban Commune Police invited Mr. Nhao to receive the phone back. Receiving the property back, Mr. Nhao expressed his joy and thanked Mr. Chu Hong Luu and the Commune Police force for their timely support.
According to Van Ban Commune Police, the quick return of lost property contributes to protecting the legitimate rights of the people, and at the same time shows the spirit of responsibility and dedication in serving the people.
