On July 20, Lao Cai Provincial Police said that Sa Pa Ward Police had quickly found the lost phone for a Korean tourist during a tour in the area.
Accordingly, at about 10 am on July 18, Mr. Kim Soobin (born in 1980, Korean nationality), staying at the Amazing Hotel, came to Sa Pa Ward Police to report losing a Samsung phone.
Losing phones makes tourists worried because many important personal data and information are stored inside.
Immediately after receiving the information, Sa Pa Ward Police urgently reviewed and verified the related areas and organized a search.
At about 3:30 pm on the same day, the phone was found and returned intact to Mr. Kim.
Receiving his property back after only a few hours, Mr. Kim Soobin expressed his emotion and wrote a handwritten letter thanking the Sa Pa Ward Police force.
In the letter, he assessed "Good (Tốt)" for the spirit of responsibility, dedication of officers and soldiers and shared his feeling: "Sa Pa is wonderful".
According to Lao Cai Provincial Police, in the past time, Sa Pa Ward Police have always proactively supported people and tourists when they encounter difficulties, and promptly handled cases related to security, order and protection of legal property of organizations and individuals.
