On April 9, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phu Quoc Special Zone (An Giang) coordinated with the Association of Former People's Police of the Special Zone and the People's Committee of Ganh Dau neighborhood to organize a ceremony to hand over the Great Solidarity house to the family of Mr. Pham Truong Han, residing in Ganh Dau neighborhood.
The house is built with an area of 65m2, level 4 house structure, corrugated iron roof, tiled floor, ensuring basic living conditions for the family. The total construction cost is 128 million VND, of which the mobilized support source is 60 million VND, the rest is contributed by the Phu Quoc Special Zone Former People's Police Association.
Mr. Pham Truong Han's family is a household with difficult housing circumstances in the area, he himself has lost his ability to work, and previously had to live in unstable rented housing conditions. Faced with that reality, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phu Quoc Special Zone has mobilized units and organizations to support housing construction to help his family have a place to settle down and gradually stabilize their lives.
The construction and handover of Great Solidarity houses is of practical significance, contributing to concretizing the Party and State's policy of caring for the poor, not leaving anyone behind, showing the spirit of mutual affection, "the healthy leaf protects the torn leaf" of the nation.
