On the afternoon of October 10, Phu Quoc Special Police held a conference to hand over the management of people who made mistakes at the grassroots level.
Speaking at the Conference, Lieutenant Colonel Dinh Xuan Truong - Head of Phu Quoc Special Forces Police - emphasized: The work of managing, reforming, educating and helping people who have made mistakes to reintegrate into the community is one of the important tasks, imbued with humanity of the People's Public Security force. This is not only a legal responsibility but also a moral obligation, deeply demonstrating the spirit of serving the people.
In recent times, Phu Quoc Special Forces Police have proactively coordinated closely with Party committees, authorities, the Fatherland Front and local organizations to deploy many practical models and measures, suitable to the characteristics of the area, contributing to preventing recidivism, preventing crimes early and from afar, maintaining stable security and order at the grassroots level.
The organization of the handover of the management of people who have made mistakes this time is an important step, promoting the core role of the grassroots police force - those who directly " mark the people, stick to the area", grasp the situation, promptly detect, support and help people who have made mistakes to gradually progress and return to integrate with the community. Thereby, contributing to creating positive changes in crime prevention and reduction, keeping peace in each residential area.
At the conference, delegates focused on discussing and evaluating the results of management work and reforming mistakes in the past. At the same time, many solutions were proposed to improve the effectiveness of coordination between the Special Forces Police - the Fatherland Front Committee - socio-political organizations in educating, supporting, and creating livelihoods for those who have made mistakes to stabilize their lives and stay away from evils.
Concluding the conference, Lieutenant Colonel Dinh Xuan Truong suggested that the Phu Quoc Special Forces Police force continue to uphold the sense of responsibility, proactively coordinate closely with departments and organizations in the work of holding people, taking care of households, taking care of areas, regularly visiting, encouraging, supporting people who have made mistakes to have stable jobs, live positively, contributing to building a safe, civilized, and humane society.
The conference is also a meaningful activity, demonstrating the proactive, humane and responsible spirit of the Phu Quoc Special Forces Police in particular and the An Giang Provincial Police in general in their efforts to build a healthy social environment, maintain security and order, for a peaceful and happy life of the people.
