Sin Thau Commune Police strengthened the review and management of residence and activities of foreigners, proactively preventing security and order issues.

As a border commune with an important position in terms of national defense and security, Sin Thau, Dien Bien province has regular border exchange and travel activities and is increasingly attracting tourists and foreigners to visit, work, and stay.

Sin Thau Commune Police proactively grasp the situation, strengthen the management of residence and activities of foreigners, contributing to early prevention of security and order issues at the grassroots level.

Implementing the direction of Dien Bien Provincial Police, Sin Thau Commune Police proactively reviewed and updated information about foreigners; inspected and grasped the situation at accommodation establishments and households. The police force focused on comparing declaration information with actual residence; inspected the compliance with regulations on temporary residence declaration, residence time, purpose of entry and activities of foreigners.

Issues arising are promptly verified and handled according to regulations; at the same time, information is exchanged with the Border Guard force and local authorities. The commune police focus on the motto "grasp households, grasp people, grasp areas", update changes in residence and activities of foreigners to detect early cases of signs of violations or activities that do not comply with regulations.

Along with inspection and review, the Police force promotes propaganda and guidance for households and accommodation establishments to strictly implement temporary residence declaration; disseminate legal regulations on entry, exit, and residence of foreigners in Vietnam.

The management of foreigners is associated with the task of ensuring security in border areas. The commune police strengthen coordination with the Border Guard and local authorities in exchanging information and managing people entering and leaving the area, especially in cases of activities related to the border area.

In the coming time, Sin Thau Commune Police will continue to review and manage the residence and activities of foreigners; maintain grasping the situation, exchanging information with functional forces, promoting the role of the people in detecting and providing information about cases with unusual signs. Thereby contributing to maintaining political security, social order and safety in the border area, creating a stable environment for the locality to develop tourism, economy and strengthen exchanges and cooperation.
