On the occasion of the 2026 Chôl Chnăm Thmây Tet - the traditional Tet holiday of the Khmer people, on April 15, the Liaison Committee of Battalion 207, Youth Union of Regiment 893, An Giang Provincial Military Command organized many meaningful entertainment activities for officers and soldiers, especially Khmer ethnic soldiers working at the unit.
Activities took place in a vibrant and exciting atmosphere with many rich contents such as: sack dancing, tug-of-war, water transfer and cultural and artistic exchange programs. Folk games are not only entertainment but also create a healthy playground, contributing to improving spiritual life, and at the same time tightening solidarity and attachment between officers and soldiers.

Notably, this time's activities are even more targeted at new soldiers, especially comrades who are celebrating Tet away from their families for the first time. The concern and thoughtful care of the Party Committee, commanders and delegation organization has contributed to helping new soldiers quickly integrate into the military environment, reduce homesickness, feel secure in their minds, and determine their tasks well.
The activity is a practical work, showing the concern of the Party Committee and unit commanders for the spiritual life of soldiers; and at the same time contributing to preserving and promoting the good cultural identity of the Khmer people in the military environment. Thereby, creating motivation for officers and soldiers, especially new soldiers, to feel secure in their work, actively train, and strive to excellently complete all assigned tasks.
