The Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions of Tay Ninh province has just issued a plan to implement digital transformation in 2026 with the goal of synchronously deploying digital government, digital economy and digital society throughout the industry, contributing to improving the efficiency of state management and the quality of service to the people.
According to the plan, digital transformation in the field of ethnicity and religion will be implemented in conjunction with the orientation of developing science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation according to Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo and action programs of the Government and Tay Ninh Provincial People's Committee.
One of the key objectives is to improve the quality of online public service provision. In 2026, the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religious Affairs of Tay Ninh province strives for 100% of administrative procedure dossiers to be processed in the form of full online process; administrative procedures are carried out regardless of administrative boundaries within the management scope of the sector.
At the same time, about 50% of essential online public services are expected to be applied with artificial intelligence to support people and businesses more conveniently in the process of performing administrative procedures.
At the same time, the sector will focus on building and completing specialized databases and integrating them into the common data warehouse of the province, effectively serving the direction and administration as well as providing open data for people and businesses to exploit.
In the field of management and administration, the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions of Tay Ninh province continues to deploy shared digital platforms according to the plan of the Central Government and the Ministry of Ethnic Minorities and Religions; and at the same time strengthens the application of virtual assistants and artificial intelligence to support civil servants in improving work productivity.
Network information security is also identified as a key task in the digital transformation process. The Department coordinates with functional forces to strengthen inspection and supervision of information systems, promptly detect and handle data unsafety risks, contributing to ensuring stable and effective state management activities in the field of ethnicity and religion.
In addition, the sector will promote propaganda to raise awareness about digital transformation for civil servants and employees; and at the same time disseminate policies, digital platforms, and digital skills to relevant organizations and individuals in the fields of ethnicity and religion.
The implementation of digital transformation is expected to contribute to improving the effectiveness and efficiency of state management in the field of ethnicity and religion in localities, while creating more favorable conditions for people to access public services and state support policies.
