On April 9, the Tay Ninh Provincial Traffic Construction and Investment Management Board said that the Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 project section passing through Tay Ninh has reached more than 88% of the construction volume, completed 100% of site clearance and is expected to complete the entire project in 2026.
According to records, the entire site of component project 8 has been handed over to the construction unit. The resettlement area in Tan Buu commune has also been completed and handed over foundations to affected households, ensuring project implementation progress.
Regarding construction progress, the realized value of component project 7 is estimated at about 88.14%. In which, package XL1 (main expressway route) reached 92% of the volume, completing complex items such as weak soil treatment, Rach Rich bridge and drainage system. Package XL2 (Tan Buu bridge, main route and parallel route) reached 94.73%, completing the abutment structure and asphalt pavement. Package XL3 (end-of-route intersection) reached 93.7%, ramp branches connecting Ben Luc - Long Thanh expressway have been completed and temporarily handed over for traffic opening.
Tay Ninh Provincial People's Committee said that the disbursement of public investment capital has always been in the leading group. In 2023 and 2024, the project disbursed 100% of the central and local capital plans assigned. In 2025, central capital of more than 831 billion VND continued to be promoted for payment according to the actual acceptance progress.
The Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 project has a total investment of 75. 378 billion VND, passing through Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Nai and Tay Ninh, with a total length of 76.34 km. The project is divided into 8 components. In Tay Ninh, the 6.84 km section includes two main component projects: component 7 infrastructure construction with a total investment of 3.040 billion VND; component 8 compensation, support and resettlement implementation with a total investment of 1. 168 billion VND.
The project is designed with a scale of 8 expressway lanes, speed of 100 km/h, with a parallel road system on both sides. The current phase focuses on building 4 expressway lanes and parallel roads to soon put them into operation, meeting the travel needs of people and businesses.
