On April 9, in Binh Hiep commune, Tay Ninh province, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City coordinated with the Ho Chi Minh City Command, Tay Ninh Provincial People's Committee and units to organize a program of medical examination, free medicine distribution, gifts and start construction of 10 houses "Residential points adjacent to border militia posts" in Tay Ninh province.
This is one of a series of activities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front system at all levels of the city practically celebrating the 51st anniversary of the Liberation of the South, national reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2026); 50th anniversary of Saigon - Gia Dinh city officially named after President Ho Chi Minh (July 2, 1976 - July 2, 2026).

These activities also aim to promptly encourage, share, and help people in difficult circumstances in border areas to ensure health and stabilize their lives.
Speaking at the program, Mr. Phan Hong An - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City said that the program contributes to showing the responsibility, concern and affection of the Party Committee, government and people of the city towards cadres, soldiers and people in border and island areas.
At the same time, it further motivates officers, soldiers and people in border areas to feel secure and continue to "stick to the land and keep the village", contributing to maintaining national border sovereignty.

At the program, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City coordinated with units to organize medical examinations, free medicine distribution and give 200 gifts to people in Binh Hiep commune, and at the same time, started construction of 10 houses "Residential points adjacent to border militia posts" in Tay Ninh province with a total cost of more than 1 billion VND.

As one of the 10 households awarded houses in this phase, Mr. Duong Van Duyen (Tam Duong hamlet) sent his thanks to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, and leaders at all levels for helping and creating conditions for his family to have a spacious house in a residential area adjacent to the border militia post.
This is a meaningful work, not only creating conditions for households to have stable food and accommodation but also creating opportunities for families to build and develop the economy to improve family life. At the same time, participating in contributing to maintaining political security and social order and safety in the locality on the border line.
