Over the past time, Tay Ninh Provincial Police have synchronously implemented many solutions to control and reduce traffic accidents. Prominent are visual propaganda models, directly impacting traffic participants' awareness, from the central area to remote and border areas.
According to VNA, one of the ways that people highly appreciate is installing traffic police dummies holding speed measuring devices on National Highway N2, passing through Thanh Hoa commune. The model has real-sized size and uniform, creating a visual warning effect.
Mr. Tran Van Thanh (37 years old, residing in Thanh Hoa commune) said that when looking from afar, he thought the functional forces were on duty, but when he got closer, he realized it was a model. However, this reminds him to strictly comply with regulations and not be subjective when participating in traffic.
Lieutenant Colonel Vo Van Hieu, Deputy Head of Traffic Police Team No. 3, Traffic Police Department of Tay Ninh Provincial Police, said that the model contributes to raising awareness of law compliance, especially speed compliance and driving in the correct lane. The combination with patrols and controls helps increase deterrence efficiency, reduce violations and accidents compared to before.
In addition, functional forces innovate their approach in training and testing drivers. Including the content of watching traffic accident situations in the pre-exam process is considered a breakthrough.

At the testing centers, students watch clips recording serious accidents, focusing on common errors such as speeding, alcohol concentration violations, going in the wrong lane, reckless overtaking, and lack of observation.
Mr. Nguyen Hoang Nam (42 years old, residing in Thanh Duc commune) said that the actual images help clearly recognize the consequences of the accident. "Just a minute of carelessness can cost life," he said and affirmed that he would strictly comply with traffic laws.
From the perspective of young people, Nguyen Nhat Anh (18 years old, student of Tay Ninh High School) said that the videos create a strong impression, especially the collision between trucks and motorbikes, thereby raising awareness when participating in traffic. Nguyen Hoc Uyen Minh (19 years old, first-year student) also said that the clips help to clearly understand the responsibility when driving, pay attention to observation and proactively handle situations.
In the first quarter of 2026, the force organized more than 5,000 patrols, made records of more than 14,000 violations, including nearly 3,000 cases of alcohol concentration violations. Thanks to synchronous measures, traffic accidents have decreased in both the number of cases and the number of injured people.
Major General Vu Nhu Ha, Director of Tay Ninh Provincial Police, said that the traffic accident situation is still potentially complicated, it is necessary to continue to promote propaganda, replicate effective models, and strictly handle violations.
The combination of propaganda and education with strict handling is being effective, contributing to forming habits, building a safe traffic culture in the community, towards the goal of sustainable traffic accident reduction.
