Establishment of the Dien Bien Provincial Border Gate Management Board

Dien Bien - The Provincial Border Gate Management Board will be arranged and transferred to staff with appropriate expertise from the Department of Industry and Trade.

Mr. Le Van Luong - Chairman of Dien Bien Provincial People's Committee - has just signed Decision No. 775 on the establishment of the Provincial Border Gate Management Board.

Dien Bien Provincial Border Gate Management Board (Board of Border Gate Management Board) is a public non-business unit directly under the Provincial People's Committee; performing the function of managing border gates in the province according to the provisions of law.

The Provincial People's Committee assigns the Border Gate Management Board to preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies and units to develop regulations on functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure, and submit them to the Provincial People's Committee for decision.

Develop a project on job positions, develop a roadmap for implementing financial autonomy in accordance with the law and submit it to competent authorities for approval.

The Provincial People's Committee also assigned the Department of Home Affairs to preside over and coordinate with the Department of Industry and Trade and relevant agencies and units to advise on proposing the transfer and appointment of the Head of the Border Gate Management Board.

Arrange and transfer civil servants with appropriate expertise from the Department of Industry and Trade, public service units to implement arrangement and reorganization for the Border Gate Management Board. Advise on assigning staff to the Border Gate Management Board according to regulations.

The decision takes effect from April 14, 2026.
