On December 9, the People's Committee of An Bien district (Kien Giang province) organized a contest to learn about the law on ethnic affairs in 2024. More than 150 contestants and supporters from teams from 9 communes and towns in the district participated.
The contestants participated in four parts: greeting, multiple choice test, situational response and a skit to propagate policies and laws on a topic. The content revolved around disseminating laws, educating policies and promoting the spirit of protecting community rights.
Through the competitions, the teams will learn about legal regulations on ethnic affairs, the Party's policies and guidelines, and the State's legal policies that are being deployed and implemented in ethnic minority areas such as the Land Law, the Law on Drug Prevention, the Law on Marriage and Family, and policies related to ethnic minority areas... Set an example for officials, communities, and people in the work of disseminating and educating the law, grassroots mediation, and share experiences in organization, implementation, good practices, and effective models suitable for ethnic minority areas.
The contest also promotes legal propaganda in the form of dramatization, in accordance with the customs, practices, and traditional culture of ethnic minorities; enhances exchanges, learning, and solidarity among ethnic people, sharing good experiences and effective business models.
