On June 10, the People's Committee of Tra On district coordinated with Thien Phuoc Pagoda (Area 5, Tra On town) to organize the handover ceremony of the Great Unity house to the family of Mr. Nguyen Van Ut, born in 1977, a poor household, facing housing difficulties in My Loi Hamlet, Tra On town, Tra On district.
The house was solidly built with a total area of 40m2, with a construction cost of 64 million VND. Of which, Binh Minh - Thien Phuoc Fund (Tien Phuoc Pagoda, Zone 5, Tra On Town) supported 60 million VND, the rest was contributed by the family to complete the new house.
This is a great source of encouragement, helping Mr. Ut's family have a stable place to live, work with peace of mind, and gradually escape poverty.
Mr. Nguyen Van Ut said that before, his house was in disrepair and leaking in all four sides. "Now that I have a solid house like this, I am so happy to lose sleep. From now on, my family has a decent place to live to work with peace of mind and improve our lives, Mr. Ut emotionally shared.

At the ceremony, Venerable Thich Nu Duc Quang - Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of Tra On District - Mausoleum of Thien Phuoc Pagoda - Area 5, Tra On Town and Tra On District People's Committee also presented many gifts to celebrate the new house and supported with 2 million VND in cash for the family to equip with additional necessary household items.
In 2025, with the spirit of "the healthy leaves cover the torn leaves", Thien Phuoc Pagoda mobilized Buddhists and benefactors to contribute 720 million VND, supporting the construction of 12 Great Unity houses for poor and near-poor households facing housing difficulties in localities in the district.
These warm and affectionate homes not only help people settle down and make a living, but also strongly spread the spirit of solidarity and humanity in the community.
