Within the framework of the working program in the Con Dao special zone, on April 12, the Ho Chi Minh City delegation deployed many practical social security activities with a total budget of 2.25 billion VND. This activity has shown the responsibility, affection and attachment of the city to the army and people at the forefront of the Fatherland.
At the Con Dao Cultural Center, the delegation presented 100 gifts to armed forces, policy families, households, fishermen and children in difficult circumstances in the area, with a total value of 250 million VND. The gifts were handed over to the right recipients, not only with practical support meaning but also as a source of spiritual encouragement, adding faith to the people and forces who are day and night sticking to the remote island.
Daily care activities are deployed synchronously and practically, closely following the work program, associated with political tasks and mass mobilization work in the area. These activities also contribute to consolidating the close military-civilian relationship, spreading the spirit of solidarity, responsibility and affection of Ho Chi Minh City towards the homeland's sea and islands.
This is one of the important contents in the 2026 work journey, further affirming the role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City in connecting social resources, taking care of social security, contributing to building a solid "people's heart formation" at the forefront of the Fatherland.
