The above orchids originated from Truong Son forest, Quang Tri province. The Cham Bee group is led by Ms. Phan Vu Diem Hang. After receiving it, the Management Board of Truong Bon National Historical Relic Area will select suitable locations to plant and care for trees, ensuring harmony with the landscape and memorial space at the relic.

Mr. Phan Trong Loc - Director of the Management Board of Truong Bon National Historical Relic Site - said that the donation of orchids expresses the feelings and gratitude of the members of the group to the heroic martyrs and youth volunteers who sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.

The Management Board will coordinate to care for and protect so that the number of trees develops well, contributing to building the relic campus to be increasingly green, beautiful, solemn and close to tourists.

Before arriving in Truong Bon, the Ong Cham group deployed activities to donate, plant and care for orchids at Truong Son National Martyrs' Cemetery, Road 9 National Martyrs' Cemetery, Quang Tri Ancient Citadel, Trung Dan Cemetery, historical sites on both banks of the Thach Han River, Ba Doc Martyrs' Cemetery and some locations in Huong Thuy and Hue City.

The group plans to continue to donate orchids to martyrs' cemeteries, memorials and historical sites across the country, thereby contributing to preserving the landscape and spreading the morality of "When drinking water, remember the source".

Truong Bon is located on strategic route 15A, once one of the fierce "fire coordinates" in the anti-American resistance war for national salvation.

On the morning of October 31, 1968, 13 youth volunteers of Company 317 sacrificed themselves while on duty filling bomb craters, ensuring traffic on the main road.

Truong Bon National Historical Relic Site today is a red address for revolutionary tradition education, where people and tourists come to offer incense and commemorate heroic martyrs.

The relic is also a symbol of courage, sacrifice and indomitable spirit of the Vietnamese youth volunteer force.
