Major General Nguyen Minh Tuan, Director of Son La Provincial Police, and the working delegation visited and presented gifts to policy families and people with meritorious services to the revolution in Song Khua commune (Son La) to celebrate the 79th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2026). The delegation included leaders of the Party Committee and People's Committee of Song Khua commune, according to Son La Provincial e-Portal on July 23.
At the visiting families, Major General Nguyen Minh Tuan cordially inquired about their health, material and spiritual life, sent best wishes and encouraged the families to continue to promote revolutionary traditions.
At the same time, expressing deep gratitude and appreciation for the contributions and sacrifices of heroic martyrs and people with meritorious services in the cause of national liberation and reunification.

The Director of the Provincial Police wished the families to continue to set a bright example, educate the young generation to actively study, work and produce, develop the economy, participate in maintaining security and order and contribute to the cause of building and protecting the Fatherland.
On this occasion, the Director of Son La Provincial Police requested the Party Committee, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Song Khua commune and socio-political organizations to continue to fully and promptly implement preferential regimes and policies for people with meritorious services; pay attention to caring for the material and spiritual life of policy families, contributing to spreading the ethnic tradition of "When drinking water, remember the source".
