On December 3, Regiment 719 (Army Corps 16) held a 2025 Military- Political Conference to evaluate the results of the implementation of tasks in 2025 and set out directions and tasks for 2026.
Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Van Thuc, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Regiment Commander chaired the conference.
In 2025, despite facing many difficulties and challenges, with the spirit of solidarity and high determination of cadres, soldiers, workers and laborers, Regiment 719 has implemented many policies and solutions to effectively lead and direct, comprehensively completing military and defense targets and tasks and developing production and business. Many items were completed excellently, highly appreciated by the 16th Corps and local authorities.
During the year, the unit organized military training, tested live ammunition for the subjects, and achieved good results; successfully organized the Party Congress of the Regiment for the 2025-2030 term, the Congress of the Trade Union, Youth and Women for the 2025-2030 term, which was highly appreciated by the Standing Committee of the 16th Corps Party Committee.
Regiment 719 also coordinated with the locality to visit, give gifts, see doctors, and provide free medicine to Vietnamese Heroic Mother Tran Thi Bay, policy beneficiaries, poor households, and special-advanced households on the occasion of holidays and Tet.
Regiment 719 also presented gifts to poor people and disadvantaged students with a total amount of 130 million VND; built and handed over 3 charity houses, 2 "Union Shelters, Comradely Love and Comradely Love"; supported the Cuban People's Reward Fund with more than 40 million VND; presented breeding cows and buffaloes to 73 ethnic minority households, poor households, near-poor households and newly escaped poverty in Dak Nhau and Bom Bo communes.
Concluding the conference, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Van Thuc praised the results that the Regiment has achieved in recent times; at the same time, he requested agencies and units to continue to strictly maintain the SSCD duty regime, ensuring forces and means of mobilization according to regulations, especially during peak periods of holidays, Tet and important political events of the country.
He emphasized the need to thoroughly grasp and strictly implement the directives and resolutions of the Party Committee; strengthen management and orientation of ideas; organize political education, disseminate legal education according to the plan; closely coordinate with local Party committees and authorities in mass mobilization work.
At the same time, it is required to develop a production - business plan, estimate and technical process for caring for gardens close to reality; apply intensive technical measures to maintain productivity and quality of gardens and stabilize workers' lives.
On this occasion, Regiment 719 commended 8 collectives and 120 individuals with outstanding achievements in the emulation movement to win in 2025.
On the same day, the Party Committee of Regiment 719 held a conference to study, disseminate and implement the Resolution of the 12th Army Party Congress, term 2025-2030 and the Resolution of the 6th Army Corps and Regiment Party Congress, term 2025-2030.
