On the afternoon of March 19, Regiment 726 (Corps 16) organized a Conference to sign regulations on coordination of activities between the Party Committee of Regiment 726 and the Party Committee of Quang Truc commune and the Party Committee of Tuy Duc commune (Lam Dong province) for the period 2026 - 2030 and the following years.
Attending the signing conference were Colonel Lai Van Tuan, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Head of the Political Department of Corps 16; the Mass Mobilization Committee, Political Department of the Corps; along with leaders and commanders of Regiment 726; representatives of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Truc commune, Tuy Duc commune and a large number of cadres, employees, and workers of Regiment 726.
At the conference, representatives of the Party Committee of Regiment 726 and the Party Committee of Quang Truc commune, the Party Committee of Tuy Duc commune agreed to sign regulations on coordination of activities for the period 2026 - 2030 and the following years.
Accordingly, the parties agreed to coordinate to promote the leadership of local military and national defense tasks; thoroughly grasp the Party's resolutions and directives on national defense and security tasks; coordinate to build defense and enhanced areas; participate in plans to protect the area, maintain political security, social order and safety.
Coordinate socio-economic development associated with national defense and security: participate in economic development programs, sustainable poverty reduction; support people in production, crop and livestock restructuring, closely combining economic development with strengthening national defense and security.
Coordinating mass mobilization work: propagating and mobilizing people to comply with the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's laws; effectively implementing ethnic and religious affairs; building a great national unity bloc, strengthening military-civilian relations.
Coordinating policy and social security work: implementing military rear policies; organizing gratitude activities; coordinating natural disaster prevention and control, rescue and relief. Coordinating the building of a comprehensively strong political system and units: participating in building strong Party organizations, agencies, and mass organizations; building comprehensively strong "exemplary exemplary" units; maintaining the relationship of military-civilian solidarity.
Speaking at the conference, Senior Colonel Lai Van Tuan, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Head of the Political Department of Corps 16 emphasized: "The signing conference of the coordination regulations is an event of profound political and social significance, vividly showing the tradition of solidarity and blood ties between the army and the people, an important factor creating the strength of our Army in the process of building, fighting and growing in general and Regiment 726 (Corps 16) in particular.
In the past time, despite many difficulties, Regiment 726 and Party committees, authorities, and people of Quang Truc and Tuy Duc communes have always maintained close and meaningful coordination relations; actively supporting each other in socio-economic development, building new rural areas, maintaining political security - social order and safety, caring for military rear policies, participating in overcoming the consequences of natural disasters and epidemics, clearly showing the role and responsibility of the Regiment and local authorities in the stationed area and project area of the unit".
Colonel Lai Van Tuan affirmed that the signing of the operating coordination regulations between the Party Committee of Regiment 726 and the Party Committees of Quang Truc and Tuy Duc communes affirms the long-term solidarity and attachment between the Regiment and the communes, and is also a political commitment showing the determination to accompany and build a safe and strong area, contributing to consolidating a solid "people's heart formation", meeting the requirements of tasks in the new situation".
