On May 28, a delegation from the Ministry of National Defense led by Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Quang Ngoc - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of National Defense, inspected and worked with the Political Officer School and Regiment 102 (308th Division, 12th Corps) on logistics, finance and basic construction investment.
At the Political Officer School and Regiment 102, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Quang Ngoc and the working delegation directly inspected the planning of barracks, housing areas, working areas, kitchens, production expansion areas, common living rooms, and ensuring work for soldiers...
After listening to the report of the Political Officer School, Regiment 102 as well as the opinions expressed at the working session, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Quang Ngoc requested the two units to focus on improving the quality and efficiency of logistics, finance and basic construction investment. Quickly supplement and adjust inappropriate contents pointed out by the inspection team.
From there, strengthen inspection and review, ensuring that projects and works are divided into reasonable and convenient use functions for soldiers to use, ensuring safety and economy; accelerate the construction progress of key projects, proactively coordinate with localities to definitively resolve land problems.
Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Quang Ngoc noted that the Political Officer School and Regiment 102 strictly manage the quality of construction works, use investment capital effectively, avoid losses and waste; the implementation process especially focuses on synchronous, long-term, regular and unified factors.
Over the past time, the Political Officer School and Regiment 102 have carried out logistics work to serve regular and unexpected tasks according to regulations; ensuring sufficient quantity and quality of materials and logistics equipment; actively and proactively exploiting and creating sources of food and foodstuffs, promoting increased production, and maintaining stable troop meals;
Manage and take care of the health of the subjects; synchronously deploy measures to prevent and control epidemics, prevent heatstroke; receive, distribute, and manage military equipment in accordance with regulations; ensure full aspects of barracks work.
Regarding financial management, regulations on the management and use of budget, public assets and basic construction investment have been thoroughly grasped and seriously implemented; maintaining the order of financial management, not allowing losses and waste to occur.
For the Political Officer School, in the period 2021 - 2026, the school implemented investment in 6 projects using regular state budget funds for national defense, so far 4 projects have been completed; the remaining 2 projects are transferred to the period 2026 - 2030.
The projects are all completed according to the plan and schedule, construction ensures safety and quality, and are put into use, contributing to improving the living, living, studying, and scientific research conditions of cadres, students, staff, and soldiers of the school, contributing to building a regular, green, clean, and beautiful unit.
