With the motto "Near the people, close to the people, serving the people", in the past time, Dat Mui Commune Police have always cared for and accompanied the people, especially families still facing difficulties in life. Recently, the Security Team of Dat Mui Commune Police (Ca Mau province) coordinated with the Commune People's Committee to visit, encourage and give gifts to support Khmer ethnic minority households in difficult circumstances in Cai Moi hamlet.
At the gift-giving ceremony, representatives of the commune police command and officers and soldiers directly visited, grasped the living situation and shared the difficulties that families are facing. The sincere greetings and close encouragement of officers and soldiers not only brought practical support but also contributed to adding faith and motivation for people to rise up and gradually stabilize their lives.
The delegation presented 22 gifts, each gift including cash, rice and essential necessities. Although the material value of the gifts was not large, they contained the sharing, affection and responsibility of the police force and local authorities towards ethnic minority households in difficult circumstances.
Not only giving gifts of support, commune police officers and soldiers also spend time listening to the thoughts and aspirations of each family; propagating and mobilizing people to well comply with the Party's guidelines, policies and laws of the State, actively work and produce, take care of life, maintain solidarity in the community and join hands to ensure security and order in the locality.
Through direct meetings, the police force has more conditions to grasp the thoughts and circumstances of the people, promptly share and support those who are still in difficulty. This is also a way for security and order assurance to be more closely linked with social security work, building close and binding relationships between the police force and the people.
These simple but practical actions contribute to spreading the image of police officers who are close to the people, understand the people, and are responsible to the people; and at the same time consolidate the trust and consensus of the people towards the Party committees, authorities and grassroots police forces.
