In Nghe An province, Mr. Phung Thanh Vinh - Vice Chairman of Nghe An People's Committee and the working group have also just inspected the progress of the project to build Con Cuong Boarding Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities.

It is known that the project to build a Boarding Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities in Con Cuong district was built in Bong Khe commune, with the People's Committee of Con Cuong district as the investor.

The total investment of the project is nearly 84 billion VND, from the central budget to implement the National Target Program (NTP) for socio-economic development of ethnic minority and mountainous areas in the period of 2021-2025 in the province.

Currently, the site clearance work has been completed. Up to now, the project is under construction at about 30%, the project must be completed and handed over for use before June 18, 2025.

Attending the ceremony to announce the establishment of the Ministry of Ethnic Minorities and Religions on March 1, 2025, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh also expressed concern about schools for students and places for treatment for people in remote areas, ethnic minority areas, and border areas of islands.

The head of the Government suggested that the Minister of Ethnic Minorities and Religions and the Minister of Education and Training urgently develop a project nationwide this year so that students have boarding schools without having to travel far, without having to walk dozens of kilometers to school. The funding source for this work is from increasing revenue and saving unnecessary regular expenses.
