The Provincial Border Guard Command (Cao Bang Provincial Military Command) has just coordinated with the People's Committees of Phuc Hoa and Be Van Dan communes to organize the "Border Spring warms people's hearts" Binh Ngo Spring 2026 program.

Major General Nguyen Duc Manh - Deputy Commander of the Border Guard - said: Every Tet holiday, when spring comes, the program "Border Spring Warms People's Hearts" becomes a great festival of military-civilian solidarity, expressing the gratitude of border guard officers and soldiers to ethnic minorities in border, sea and island areas of the Fatherland.

According to Major General Nguyen Duc Manh, the program has been organized from 2016 to present, under the leadership of the Party, State, Central Military Commission, Ministry of National Defense; with the coordination of Party committees, authorities, Fatherland Front, departments, branches, local organizations and the companionship of the business community and philanthropists. Through this, the program has brought many practical and meaningful results.
Tens of thousands of poor households and policy families are supported; hundreds of thousands of scholarships are awarded to students in border areas; hundreds of "Border Shelter" houses are built; many sustainable livelihood models are formed through the donation of breeding cows, breeding animals and civil works.

Those results can be measured by numbers, but cannot be measured by faith, by feelings, by the blood ties between the army and the people, as a noble image of Uncle Ho's soldiers - Border Guards in the new era," Major General Nguyen Duc Manh affirmed.
According to Major General Nguyen Duc Manh, in 2026, the program will continue to be organized simultaneously throughout the border line. Border guard units across the country are expected to give gifts to people of ethnic groups in border areas, policy families, poor households, lonely people without shelter; students in the program "Raising Steps for Children to School - Foster Children of Border Guard Stations" and students in difficult circumstances who rise up in their studies, with a total value of over 32 billion VND.

Speaking at the program, Mr. Hoang Van Thach, Vice Chairman of Cao Bang Provincial People's Committee, said that every Tet holiday, spring comes, the program "Border Spring warms people's hearts" is organized bustlingly in border communes, becoming a vivid proof of military-civilian solidarity, the close bond between the Vietnamese people's army and ethnic minorities.
The program is not only a meaningful social security activity, but also truly becomes a festival for people in border areas, contributing to bringing joy, a joyful atmosphere, warm affection every time spring comes to border villages," Mr. Hoang Van Thach emphasized.

Within the framework of the program, the Organizing Committee presented 559 gifts to policy families, poor households and students in difficult circumstances who strive to study well in the two communes of Be Van Dan and Phuc Hoa.
