On July 18, Lao Cai Provincial Police said that Luong Thinh Commune Police had come to the house to present citizen identification cards and gifts to the family of Ms. Pham Thi Dan (born 1949, residing in Yen Thanh village, Luong Thinh commune) who is in particularly difficult circumstances.
The activity is part of the "Three Firsts" emulation movement of the People's Police force, and at the same time implements administrative procedure reform according to the motto of putting people at the center of service.
Ms. Dan's family has been in difficult circumstances in the locality for many years. Despite her old age and weak health, she still directly takes care of her 3 sons who are all intellectually disabled.
Understanding that situation, commune police officers directly handed over citizen identification cards to her 2 children right at home, helping the family not have to travel to complete procedures.
On this occasion, Luong Thinh Commune Police also presented the family with 10kg of rice and 1 box of instant noodles to encourage and share difficulties, adding motivation for the family to rise up in life.
Bringing the results of administrative procedure resolution to homes not only facilitates the lives of the elderly, people with disabilities and cases of travel difficulties, but also demonstrates the spirit of responsibility, closeness to the people, and closeness to the people of the grassroots police force.
