Police visit and give gifts to pagodas on the occasion of Sene Dolta festival

Kien Giang - Visiting and gift giving activities aim to strengthen solidarity and unity between the police force and the Khmer ethnic community.

On October 1, Colonel Dao Hai Dang - Deputy Director of Kien Giang Provincial Police visited and presented gifts to Khmer pagodas in the province on the occasion of the Sene Dolta 2024 festival of the Khmer ethnic people.

The activity also aims to strengthen solidarity and unity between the police force and the Khmer ethnic community.

At the places he visited and presented gifts, Colonel Dao Hai Dang sent his best wishes to the monks and Buddhists, and expressed his wish that the Khmer people would continue to uphold their cultural traditions and promote the spirit of national solidarity. Colonel Dao Hai Dang also affirmed that the Kien Giang Provincial Police force will always accompany and support the people in all circumstances, together building a prosperous and happy life and maintaining security and order, contributing to the socio-economic development of the province.

In response to the delegation's sentiments, as well as the attention of the Party Committee - Provincial Police Department's Board of Directors towards the Khmer people, the abbots of Khmer pagodas expressed their deep gratitude and promised to encourage Buddhists to live a good life, obey the law and work together to build their homeland.

Maintaining a close relationship between the government and the people is an important factor in building a prosperous and happy life for the community.
