Dien Bien - Muong Tung Commune Police went through the night, crossing streams to find a motorbike for a person who got lost in the rainy night.

On May 17, Dien Bien Provincial Police said that Muong Tung Commune Police promptly supported an elderly person to find property left in the stream area on a rainy night.

Previously, at about 0:15 on May 16, Muong Tung Commune Police received a report from the Tin Toc village security and order team about the discovery of an elderly man walking in a state of panic and anxiety on TL150 road in Muong Tung commune.

This person was identified as Mr. Hau A Lu (born 1952, residing in Sa Ninh village, Muong Lay ward). Immediately after receiving the information, the commune police force quickly arrived to support.

Through verification, Mr. Lu said that while returning from visiting relatives, he encountered heavy rain and darkness, causing him to get lost in the stream area bordering Muong Lay ward and Muong Tung commune. The motorbike was moving when it suddenly stalled in the middle of the water.

Fearing that the stream water would rise and sweep away both people and property, Mr. Lu was forced to leave his motorbike and then walk to find help.

Realizing that the motorbike was a valuable asset to Mr. Lu's family, Muong Tung Commune Police urgently deployed forces to search overnight.

Despite heavy rain, dangerous terrain, many sections having to wade through streams, crossing fast-flowing water areas, officers and soldiers still made efforts to survey each suspected area.

After nearly 2 hours of searching in the dark, functional forces discovered the motorbike stuck in the stream area bordering Muong Lay ward and Muong Tung commune. The property was then handed over intact to Mr. Lu.

Receiving his motorbike back, Mr. Lu emotionally thanked the Commune Police force for their enthusiastic help in difficult times.

According to Dien Bien Provincial Police, quickly supporting people to find their property in the rainy night not only shows the spirit of responsibility, closeness to the people, and closeness to the people of the grassroots police force, but also contributes to spreading the beautiful image of police officers serving the people.
