On May 28, Phuc Loi Commune Police, Lao Cai province said that the unit had just coordinated to support a resident to receive back 50 million VND due to mistakenly transferring to a bank account.
Previously, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hoa (residing in Ban Chang village, Phuc Loi commune) suddenly discovered that his personal account had received 50 million VND from a strange account he did not know.
Realizing that this was not his money and that someone might have transferred it by mistake during the transaction, Mr. Hoa proactively went to Phuc Loi Commune Police to report, asking for support in verifying to return it to the transferor.
After receiving information, Phuc Loi Commune Police quickly conducted verification and review of related transactions and identified the owner of the money as Mr. Hoang Van Huan, residing in Muong Lai commune. Due to negligence in the transfer process, Mr. Huan mistakenly transferred it to Mr. Hoa's account.

The police force then guided the necessary procedures, and at the same time supported the two sides to complete the return of property. The entire amount of 50 million VND was fully returned to Mr. Hoang Van Huan.
Receiving the mistakenly transferred money back, Mr. Huan expressed his emotion and thanked Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hoa and Phuc Loi Commune Police for their timely support, helping him avoid great property damage.
According to Phuc Loi Commune Police, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hoa's action is a beautiful gesture, showing honesty, spirit of responsibility and awareness of living beautifully for the community.
Proactively reporting and returning property to people who dropped or mistakenly transferred it not only contributes to spreading positive values in society but also strengthens people's trust in the grassroots police force.
This is also a good example of good people and good deeds that needs to be praised and replicated in the community.
