On July 8, Cao Bang Provincial Police informed about a beautiful act of the forces participating in protecting security and order (ANTT) at the grassroots level when promptly returning valuable assets to people.
Previously, on July 5, while on duty in the Nam Tuan commune market area, comrade Nguyen Huu Tiep - Deputy Head of the ANTT protection team of Dong Giang hamlet - picked up a gold metal ring, with the words "Kim Linh 1C" engraved on the ring.
Realizing that this was valuable property, comrade Nguyen Huu Tiep proactively looked for the person who dropped it but there was no result. After that, the ring was handed over to Nam Tuan Commune Police for verification and ownership.
Immediately after receiving it, Nam Tuan Commune Police urgently reviewed and verified the information. In just a short time, functional forces identified the owner of the ring and proceeded to return it.
According to the owner, the gold ring is worth about 14 million VND. Receiving the property back, people expressed their emotion and sent letters of thanks to the commune police force and forces participating in protecting social order and safety at the grassroots level.
