On the evening of February 6th, Can Tho City Police organized a program to celebrate the success of the 14th National Party Congress, celebrate the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2026) and donate 1,000 houses to families in difficult housing circumstances in the city.



The art program with the theme "Can Tho City Police - Joining hands for peaceful life - For people's happiness" was solemnly organized, showing the role and responsibility of the People's Police force in ensuring security and order associated with taking care of social security.

Through the program, Can Tho City Police wishes to spread belief, spirit and political determination, encourage officers, soldiers and people from all walks of life to actively respond to patriotic emulation movements, joining hands to successfully implement the Resolution of the 14th Party Congress and the Resolution of the Can Tho City Party Congress for the new term.
Speaking at the program, Major General Huynh Viet Hoa - Director of Can Tho City Police said that with the motto "when people need, when people have difficulty, there is Police", in the past year, besides the task of ensuring security and order, maintaining the peaceful life of the People, the Can Tho City Police force has actively participated in social security work.


Specifically, the City Police mobilized more than 22 billion VND to build houses for people in difficult circumstances in the area, and at the same time support people in provinces and cities affected by natural disasters and storms.


Major General Huynh Viet Hoa emphasized that in order to continue to join hands with the Party, State and local authorities to care for people's lives, the Party Committee - Board of Directors of Can Tho City Police has mobilized businesses to build 1,000 houses, each worth 60 million VND, helping difficult households have conditions to stabilize their lives and feel secure in working and production.
