Towards the Vesak season PL. 2570 - DL. 2026 coming to all parts of the country, Loc Da Pagoda (Chanh Hung ward, Ho Chi Minh City) has organized a program to give gifts to support visually impaired people, people with disabilities, lonely elderly people and households in difficult circumstances in the locality.
Venerable Thich Tri Truong - abbot of Loc Da Pagoda - and Buddhists in the Dharma hall directly visited, encouraged and sent wishes to the people to welcome a peaceful Buddha's Birthday season, lots of joy and willpower to overcome difficulties in life.
With the spirit of compassion and sharing of a Buddhist son, the Venerable, along with Buddhists and philanthropists, handed over 100 loving gifts to the people. Each gift is worth about 500,000 VND, including: 10 kg of rice, 1 box of noodles, soy sauce, sugar, cooking oil and a cash envelope.
The total budget for the gift-giving program is more than 50 million VND, contributed by Venerable Thich Tri Truong, along with Buddhists, philanthropists and philanthropists.
Although the gifts are not of great value, they contain feelings, care and the spirit of mutual affection, contributing to bringing joy and warmth to people in this year's Buddha's Birthday season.
